Grace Cartrette

Grace Mobley Cartrette, 74 of Folkston passed away January 16, 2010 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Jacksonville, Florida.
She was born July 8, 1935 to McCager and Matisha Deen Mobley in Broxton, Georgia. She had been a resident of Folkston since 1960. Grace was a loving mother, housewife and was of the Baptist faith. Grace was preceded in death by her husband Calvin Cartrette.
Survivors: Two Sons: Gary (Jennifer) Cartrette of Fernandina Beach, Florida;Rex Cartrette of Jacksonville, Florida
Three Daughters: Jenifer (Kevin) Nobles of Folkston, Georgia
Gracie (Tony) Gooch of Folkston, Georgia
Cathy Hill of Jacksonville, Florida
Two Brothers: Ralph Mobley of Atlanta, Georgia
Ledmon Mobley of Broxton, Georgia
One Sister: Evelyn Whitley of Palatka, Florida
Twelve Grandchildren, Five Great-grandchildren and several Nieces, Nephews and other relatives.
Pallbearers: Jeremy Cartrette, Jason Cartrette, Justin Cartrette, Dustin Nobles, Jordon Gooch and Taylor Hill.
The family will receive friends Monday, January 18, at Shepard Funeral Home from 6 until 8 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice or Camp Pinckney Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, January 19 at Camp Pinckney Baptist Church at 11:00 AM with Rev. David Beckham officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
