Glenn Milton Taylor, 78, of Folkston, GA passed away Sunday, January 7, 2021 with his loving children by his side. He was born August 6, 1942 in Waycross, GA to the late Anton Leroy Taylor and Margaret Irene Osborn Taylor. He was a member of Homeland United Methodist Church. He was the owner of Taylor Brothers Machine Shop for 10 years and Taylor Sales and Recycling since 1986.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter: Ashley Taylor and 3-brothers: Chester Taylor, Ronald Taylor and Tommy Taylor and a son-in-law: Walter E. Clifford.
He is survived by his children: Michael Taylor and Sandra (Rob) Calvert; grandchildren: Brandon (Jessica) Clifford and Aubrey (Phil) Griffith and Michael Taylor; great grandchildren: Ryland Samuel Clifford, Kinsley Clifford, Kayla Guinn, Cheyenne Crews, and Devon Miller. Glenn is also survived by his wife Glenda Taylor, her children, grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
The family will receive friends Friday, January 22, 2021 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home from 6-8 PM. Memorial service will be held Saturday, January 23 at 11:00 AM at the Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carl Taylor officiating. Memorialization will be by cremation.
Due to Covid-19, the family would like to ask all attendees to please follow the rules of social distancing and face masks are recommended at the service. Also, anyone that does not feel comfortable with attending the service, the family would like for you to know they understand and covet your prayers.
