Glenda Nighbert

Glenda Varnes Nighbert, 61, of Hilliard, FL passed away Wednesday, June 10 in Fernandina Beach, FL following a lengthy illness.  She was born December 28, 1953 to the late Cleve Venise Varnes and Jenny Marie Allen Varnes.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her 3-brothers:  Leslie Varnes, Wesley Varnes and Cleveland Varnes; and 2-Sisters:  Wanda Hodgdon and Doris Phillips.
She is survived by her husband:  Stockton Nighbert; a son:  Stephen (April) Kriete; 2-Grandchildren:  Eli and Zoe Kriete; 4-Sisters:  Ruth Nobles, Peggy Lollar, Ellen Varnes, and Mildred Colbert; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The family will receive friends Saturday, June 13 at Shepard Funeral Home from 3-5 PM.  Memorialization will be by cremation.
