Gladys Lee

Gladys Carter Lee, 82 of Homeland, Georgia died Friday, October 9, 2009 at St. Vincent's Medical Center, Jacksonville following a brief illness.
Gladys was born in Racepond, a child of Joe Carter and Nora Crews Carter. She was married to Bradley Lee for 70 years. She was proceded in death by her parents, three sisters: Mable Allen, Dorothy Thrift and Pauline Harris; One Brother: Joe Carter,Jr.
Gladys is survived by her husband: Bradley Lee; Children: Lavonne Todd(Harry); Annette Peete(Ronnie); Billy Lee; David Lee(Linda); Brenda Herrin; all of Folkston, Georgia; 9 Grandchildren: Vicky Kicklighter, JimTodd, Chris Peete, Veronica Barrett, Shannon Lee, Tonya Crews, Candace Gibbs, Ansley Williams and Cory Bryant; 14 Great-Grandchildren: John and James Todd, Ryan Peete, Brody Barrett, Alex Lee, Breighanna, Nevaeh and Kaela Gibbs, Tre' Ballard, Colby and Chloe Bryant, several Nieces, Nephews and other relatives.
Pallbearers: Cory Bryant, Ronnie Davis, Levis Lee, Wayne Lee, Terry Lee and Ray Bryant.
Visitation will be Monday, October 12, from 6 until 9 PM at Shepard Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of the Funeral Home with Rev. Jody Griffin and Rev. Buddy Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Homeland Cemetery.
