GLADYS CARTER

Gladys Clark Carter, 87, of Folkston, GA passed away January 7, 2012. She was born in the Colerain Community of Camden County to the late Lewis Grant Clark and Sibbie Wainwright Clark. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Folkston. She was preceded in death by her husband: Clarence Warren Carter.
She is survived by her children: Phyllis Anne McLendon, Sue Stewart, Kay Carter, Grace Carter and Kathy Adkins; a Brother: Laverne Clark; 13-Grandchildren and 13-Great Grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Monday, January 9 at Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston beginning at 6:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 10 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Folkston with Rev. Gene McCullough and Rev. Randy Jacoby officiating. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery.
