Gheorghe Muresan, 57 of Callahan,Fl., passed away Thursday, December 25, 2008 at Baptist Medical Center, Jacksonville, Fl.
A native of Romania, he was born to Ana-Floarea Schiopol and George Muresan on November 17, 1951. He graduated college in Romania and entered the field of Marine Biology, before coming to the United States to live. He enjoyed Antiquing, gardening and spoiling his grandkids. He had been a resident of Callahan for the past 4 years.
Survivors include his Wife: Barbara Muresan; P.I.L. Louis Dickerson; Children: Ezra(Cindy); Amber(Scott); Amy(Earl) and Florintina Muresan. Grandchildren: James, Cheyenne, Terra, Lexxy, Samantha, Nick, Bradley, Brandy, Angel, Toby and Will.
Great-Grandchild: Breanna and many other family and friends both here, Romania and in heaven.
.The family will receive friends, Monday, December 29, 2008 at Shepard Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM with burial to follow in Homeland Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses at Baptist Hospital, 5th Floor Oncology, for their extraordinary Care and concern in Mr. Muresan's final days.
