Gearldain Guinn

Gearldain Gill Guinn, 70, of Jacksonville, passed away April 13 at Life Care Center of Hilliard. She was born in Callahan, FL to the late Sylvester and Viola Cowart Gill. She was of the Baptist faith. She grew up attending Kings Road Baptist Church and later attended Gardenview Baptist Church
She is survived by her children: Willie Nelson “Billy” Woods, Jr. (Esther), Loretta Miller (Doug), and Timothy “Fritz” Stoppelbein (Tina); 3-Brothers: Ralph Gill (Ella Jo), Roy Gill (Mary) and Bob Gill; a Sister: Pauline Taylor; 12-Grandchildren and 6-Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 3-Sisters: Gladys Baker, Mamie Carter and Ethel Harper.
The family will receive friends Saturday April 16 from noon until 1:00 PM at Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston, Georgia. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Shepard Funeral Home. Memorialization will be by cremation.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gardenview Baptist Church, 3139 N. Armsdale Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218. Gerry always said, “If I can’t see them while I’m alive, I don’t need them when I’m dead.” The family also request that if you have a favorite photo or memory, please bring it to the service.
