Gary Arbogast

Gary Allen Arbogast, 73, of Homeland, GA passed away Friday, January 29 at Folkston Park after an extended illness.  He was born October 25, 1947 in Hillsdale, Michigan to the late David Frederick Arbogast and Patty Jean Rumsey Arbogast.  He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Folkston.

He is survived by his loving family including his wife:  Ruby Jo Murray Arbogast; children:  Jennifer (Charlie) Murray, Julie (Charlie) Stacks and Corey Arbogast; grandchildren:  Joshua (Kathleen) Stacks, Jaime (Savannah) Kelsey, Justina Outler, Shelby (Michael) Farmer, Dean Murray, Christopher (Bailey) Murray, Ashley Murray, Lance Arbogast and Ashley Arbogast; 8-great grandchildren; brother:  Bruce Arbogast; sisters:  Marcia Bumpkus and Brenda Moore; a brother-in-law:  Donald (Barbara) Murray and a number of nieces and nephews.

Memorialization will be by cremation.

A Celebration of Life service will be held February 20, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Folkston with Rev. Randy Jacoby officiating.

Due to Covid-19, the family would like to ask all attendees to please follow the rules of social distancing and face masks are recommended at the service.  Also, anyone that does not feel comfortable with attending the service, the family would like for you to know they understand and covet your prayers.
