Fred Harvey, Sr.

Fred Larry Harvey, Sr., 73, of St. George, GA passed away Thursday, April 2, 2020 in Macclenney, Florida.  He was born October 5, 1946 in Taylor, FL to the late Larry Clifton “L.C.” Harvey and Voncille Bennett Harvey Hand.  He retired from the Charlton County Road Department after many years of service.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother:  George Harvey.

He is survived by his wife of51 years:  Violet Crews Harvey; 2-children:  Freddie (Jessica) Harvey and Sylvia (Scooby) Smith; a sister:  Mazie (Paul) Cates; 4-grandchildren:  Amanda (Ethan) Powell, Tommy (Randikay) Harvey, Skylar (Kimberly) Harvey, Sarah-Rebecca (Dylan) Thompson and 9 great grandchildren:  Peyton, Remington, Kylee, Kenzlee, Isreal, Simeon, Brier, Greyson and Veda; and his beloved fur baby:  Tanner and fur grands:  Axle and Autumn..

Memorialization will be by cremation.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
