Fitzhugh "F.L." Murray

Fitzhugh Lee “F.L.” Murray, Jr., 79, of Folkston, GA passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021 at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL.  He was born June 16, 1941 in Folkston, GA to the late Fitzhugh Lee Murray, Sr. and Mary Hazel Franklin Murray.  He was a 1959 graduate Of Charlton County High School and the attended ABAC in Tifton.

He is survived by his children:  Mark (Katherine) Murray, Lynn (Shannon) Murray and Cindy (Hank) Alexander; a sister:  Marion (Joe) Allen and 4-grandchildren:  Kaylee Alexander, Alyssa Alexander, Taylor Murray and Tanner Murray.

Memorialization will be by cremation.  A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 20 at Sardis Cemetery at 1:00 PM.

Arrangements are under the direction of Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home in Folkston, Georgia.
