Fairley Cisco, 67 of St. Marys passed away April 9, 2010 at his residence.
Mr. Cisco was born May 25, 1942 in Mohawk, WV, and moved to Folkston, Georgia in 1958. A successful entrepreneur, he owned and operated several businesses including the Shell Inn Truck Stop in Folkston, Georgia. In 1972, he opened his first dealership, Cisco Ford in Folkston and later owned and operated Cisco Brothers Ford Mercury in Kingsland, Georgia. Mr. Cisco also established several Travel Plazas in Camden County.
He is survived by his wife: Peggy Cisco; Four Daughters: Tammy-Cisco Walker (Wes), Aletha Cisco Shave (Jon), Lavonne Cisco Phillips and Teresa Cisco Mize (Rod); One Son: Ricky Cisco; Two Stepchildren: Amie Ward and Dwayne McCoy; Two Brothers: Winston Cisco (Rose Mary) and Leslie Cisco (Erma); 12 Grandchildren; 8 Great Grandchildren and many beloved Nieces, Nephews and other Relatives. He was preceded in death by his Parents: Champ and Anna Cisco.
Pallbearers will be Eric Cisco, Michael Cisco, Jeff Dirkes, Walden Hatfield, Jon Shave, Cisco Moore, Spencer Walker, Stetson Walker, Jim England, Brian Cisco, and Jack Scott.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 13, 2010 from 6-8 PM at Shepard Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church in Folkston, Georgia. Burial will follow at Pineview Cemetery.
