Evelyn Hickox

Evelyn Hickox, 92, of Homeland, GA passed away on Friday, August 9, 2024 at her residence. She was born in Douglas, GA on January 28, 1932 to the late Evin and Ethel Hickox.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother: Carl Hickox; and a grandson-in-law: Adam Dixon.

She is survived by her daughter: Joann Sparks; her son: Paul Gibson; a granddaughter: Angela (Carl) Strickland, her great-grandchildren: Lilly Dixon, Will (Karlee) Strickland, Chelsea Strickland, and Tyler (Brittany) Tanner; a great-great-grandchild: Braxton Henderson; a sister: Jonell Kelly; a sister-in-law: Kitty Hickox; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. 

A graveside service will be held at 10:00AM on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at Homeland Cemetery with Chaplain White officiating.
