Evelyn Musgrove Dinkins

Evelyn Musgrove Dinkins, 88, of Homeland, GA, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Hospice Satilla in Waycross, GA following a lengthy illness.  She was born August 14, 1935 to the late Ollie and Susie Knight Musgrove. 

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband:  Dell L. Dinkins, Sr.; 3-sisters:  Wanda Bercaw, Audrey Dixon, Dorothy Haddock; 7-brothers:  Richard Musgrove, Drady Musgrove, Buddy Musgrove, A.J. Musgrove, Mitchell Musgrove, Floyd Musgrove and Alton Musgrove.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law:  Dell, Jr. and Julie Dinkins; a daughter and son-in-law:  Betty and Keith Woolard; 3-grandchildren:  Aaron (Jonathan) Preston, Brad (Erika) Woolard and Lee (Amber) Dinkins; 11-great grandchildren:  Meagan, Hanna, Becca, Emma, Charli, Graycee, Jaymee, Waylon, Jack, Boone and Flint; a sister:  Ann Grooms; a brother:  Freeman Musgrove and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 29 at 11:00 AM at Victory Baptist Church with Pastor Tim King officiating.  The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the church.  Burial will be in Sardis Cemetery.
