Eunice Nelson

Eunice Crews Nelson, 91, of Huger, SC, died Monday morning in a Charleston hospital.

Her funeral will be 2:00 PM Sunday afternoon, Dec. 5, 2010, in the Hilliard Church of God, Hilliard, FL. Interment will follow in the Pigeon Creek Cemetery. Friends may call at Shepard Funeral Home, Folkston, GA, from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Saturday, and at other times at the residence of Mrs. Pauline Nelson.

Mrs. Nelson was born Jan. 5, 1919, in Brantley County, GA, a daughter of Walter Crews and Nolie Johns Crews. She was a charter member of the Hilliard Church of God, and Mrs. Nelson was the widow of Bailey A. Nelson.

Surviving are, two daughters, Ernestine Moore and her husband, Tom, of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and Pamela Crabb and her husband, Randy, of Huger, SC; a sister, Pauline Nelson of Hilliard, FL; a brother, Chester Crews and his wife, Jewel, of Hilliard, FL; three grandchildren, Mark Mitchum and his wife, Chris, Kevin Mitchum and his wife, Christie, and Steve Meade; four great grandchildren, three step grandchildren, and eleven step great grandchildren.
