Eugene Hogan

Eugene Elliot “Uncle Cookie” Hogan, 77, of Folkston, GA, passed away September 5, 2016 in Jacksonville, FL.  He was born in Jacksonville, FL June 12, 1939 to the late Eugene Isaac Hogan and Winifred Wallace Hogan.  He attended the Presbyterian Church in Jacksonville, FL where he served as a youth leader.  Mr. Hogan was very active in the Boy Scouts of America serving as an adult Troop Leader.
He was preceded in death by his wife:  Pat Hogan and 2-Sisters:  Charlotte Ferrell and Shirley Robinson.
He is survived by his children:  Pam Henck (Steven), Steven Hogan (Linda) and Rodney Hogan; a sister:  Evelyn McClemore (Charles); a brother:  Robert Hogan (Cindy); 7-grandchildren and 11-great grandchildren.
A graveside funeral service will be held Friday, September 9 at 11:00 AM in Prospect Cemetery.  The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.
