Eugene Davis

Eugene “Gene” Davis, 81, of Homeland, GA, passed away July 21, 2015.  He was born January 11, 1934 in Lyons, GA to the late Neal Davis and Rosa Gay Davis.  He was an active member of the Folkston Church of God.  He served Charlton County as a member of the Board of Education and County Commissioners.  He was preceded in death by his 2-sisters:  Elmyra Brantley and Sylvania Vaughn.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years:  Coy Ann Sanderson Davis; 3-Sons:  Ronny (Kay) Davis, Jimmy (Barbara) Davis & Calvin Davis; 5-Grandchildren:  Clint Davis, Scott Davis, Joalby Davis, Whitney Davis & Elizabeth Roland; 3-Great Grandchildren:  Mason Davis, Hudson Davis and JB Davis.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, July 23 at 11:00 AM in Homeland Cemetery with Rev. Rob Gillis officiating.
