ETHEL NETTLES

Ethel Mae Crews Nettles, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend went home to be with her Lord, family and friends on April 16, 2011. She was 75. She was preceded in death by her parents Andrew Bryant Crews and Kate Lloyd, and beloved step-father: Buck Lloyd, her beloved husband: Walter Nettles, a son: Clifton “Red” Sandiford, a daughter: Brenda Gail Bivens; 2-Brothers: Walter Crews, and Ronald Lloyd.
She is survived by her children: Debbie (Jerry) Parker of Folkston, Audrey Nettles of Blackshear, GA, and Tim Nettles of Winokur; 2-Beloved Daughters-In-Law: Donna (Greg) Jones of Jesup, GA and Lisa Johns of Jacksonville, FL; a Grandson: Eric (Shana) Nettles of Waycross, GA; 5-Granddaughters: Anna (Robert) Johns of Jacksonville, FL, Amy (Jeffrey) of New Orleans, LA, April (Billy Ray) Harris of Nahunta, GA, Brandi (Richie) Manning of Folkston, GA, and Lauren Jean “LJ” Nettles of Nahunta, GA; 4-Great Grandsons: Isaac Johns of Jacksonville, FL, Gabrielle Bledsoe of TN, Brenton & Preston Corley of Waycross, GA; 6-Great Granddaughters: Kirsten, Jadyn and Jacie Rae Harris of Nahunta, GA, Zoey Valdez of Jacksonville, FL, and Madison & Kalyn Manning of Folkston, GA; 6-Sisters: Katherine (LW) Lloyd, Betty Renshaw, Connie Nettles, Barbara (Roy) Nettles, and Diane Arrow of Folkston, GA and Sue Geiger of Hilliard, FL; 2-Special Sisters-In-Law: Martha Crews of Folkston, GA and Marty (Wilbur) Horn of Waynesville, GA, and numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends
She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
A celebration of life will be held Tuesday, April 19 at 3:00 PM at the Homeland Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Ricky Knox and Rev. Randy Wainwright officiating. Memorialization will be by cremation.
