Eric Byrd

Eric Nathan Byrd, 59, of St. George, GA passed away at his home on October 30, 2020.  He was born in Macclenny, FL on March 30, 1961 to the late Nathan Byrd and Doris Davis Wilkerson.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church of St. George.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years:  Linda Dority Byrd; his children:  David (Cassandra) Byrd of Clearwater, FL, Darryl Byrd of Macclenny, FL and Brian Byrd of St. George, GA; 8-grandchildren and 2-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Monday, November 2 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home in Folkston, GA from 6-8 PM.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 3 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of St. George with Rev. Larry Finley officiating.  Burial will follow in Boones Creek Cemetery.

Due to the COVID-19, the family would like to ask all to please follow the rules of social distancing and face mask are recommended at the service.   Also, anyone who does not feel comfortable with attending the service, the family would like for you to know they understand and covet your prayers.
