Emmet Stapleton, Jr

Emmet Brewer Stapleton, Jr. 91 of Folkston passed away at his residence January 1, 2010. He was the son of the late Emmet Brewer Stapleton, SR. and Rosa Pearce Stapleton. He was a member of the Folkston United methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife: Catherine Stapleton; a Brother: Pearce Stapleton; and a sister: Martha Johnson.
He is survived by 3-Daughters: Catherine Stapleton, Suzanne S. Mazuch (John), and Barbara S. Davis (Jimmy); a sister: Kathleen S. Littlefield; 5-Grandchildren and 3-Great Gandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Mr. Stapleton's home at 217 West Martin Street in Folkston from 7-9 PM on Saturday January 2. A graveside service will be held Sunday January 3 at 2:00PM at Pineview Cemetery in Folkston with Rev. Dave Willett and Rev. David Unkles officiating. Pallbearers will be Dan and Dave Littlefield, Tracy Johnson, Sonny Stapleton, Baker Alston, David McDaniel, Ken Kriner, Johnny Christmas, and Reavis Pittman.
Contributions may be made to the Folkston United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 396, Folkston, Georgia 31537, or the United Methodist Children's Home, 500 S. Columbia Drive, Decatur, Georgia, 30030.
