Elfriede Topfl Reed, 72 of Hilliard, Florida passed away Saturday, October 13, 2007 at
the Acosta-Rua Center for Caring in Jacksonville, Florida after an extended illness.
She was born to Rudolf Topfl and Bertha Haselberger on October 17, 1934 in the Republic of Czeck, and was of German Descent. She married Coyle Reed, Jr. while in Germany and moved to
Hilliard, where she and Coyle enjoyed 51 years of marriage, together.
Survivors include: Husband: Coyle Reed, Jr. of Hilliard; 2 Daughters: Gabriele Burnsed of Jacksonville, Sandra Wooten of Folkston; One Son: Charles Reed of Hilliard; Three sisters: Johanna Gilman of Miami, Fl.; Erika Langer and Edith Graf , both of Germany; One brother: Karl Heinz Topfl of Thialand; Two Granddaughters: Erika Knowles, Jennifer Wooten, both of Folkston, Ga.; two Grandsons: Bret Wooten of Callahan, Fl, and Nicholas Wooten of Folkston, Ga.; one adopted Brother: Dieter Topfl of Germany, Five Great-grandchildren and several Nieces and Nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter: Cynthia Huling.
Funeral Services will be Thursday, October 18, 2007 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church of Callahan with Rev. Ralph Besendofer officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Hilliard, Fl.
Pallbearers: Tony Sims, Kenny Sims, Bret Wooten, Nicholas Wooten, Walter Knowles and Donald Reed .
The family will receive friends, Wednesday, October 17, 2007 from 7 until 9PM at the Funeral Home.
