Edward Daniels

Edward Carlton Daniels, 68, of St. George, GA passed away Saturday, August 7 in Jacksonville, FL.  He was born July 4, 1953 in Jacksonville, FL to the late Carl Clayton Daniels and Jerrell Carter Daniels.  He attended Taylor Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son:  Edward Jonathon “Boo” Daniels and 2-brothers:  Willie Eugene Daniels and Leo Clayton Daniels and a brother-in-law:  Herschel Johnson.

He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law:  Catherine and Danny Hutchins; a grandson:  Kyler Hutchins; great grandchildren:  Bralynn Hutchins, Brentley Hutchins, Doc Hutchins and Gatlin Hutchins; 3-sisters:  Leatha (Kurt) Parnell, June May and Carolyn Johnson; a brother:  Kenny Daniels and a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives.

The family will receive friends Friday, August 13 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home from 6-8 PM.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 14 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Larry McGinley officiating.  Burial will follow in Daniels Cemetery.

Due to Covid-19, the family would like to ask all attendees to please follow the rules of social distancing and face masks are recommended at the service.  Also, anyone that does not feel comfortable with attending the service, the family would like you to know they understand and covet your prayers.
