Edith Caudle

Edith Thrift Caudle, 73 , of Columbus, Ga., passed away August 20, 2007
at Columbus Hospice.
Born to Louis and Louisa Melissa Lake Thrift in Brantley County, Ga.on May 5, 1934.
She was a member of Riverside Chapel Baptist Church.
Mrs. Caudle was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Gene Thrift and Robert Thrift.
Survivors include her husband: James W. Caudle, Jr. of Columbus, Ga. ; a daughter: Jacquelyn Sackie(Mike) of Fortson, Ga.; a son: James Carl Caudle of Talbotton, Ga. ; 3 sisters: Winona Lloyd of Hilliard, Fl.; Beulah Strickland(Larry) of Blackshear, Ga. ; Joann Herrin(Charles) of Hilliard, Fl.;
5 Grandchildren: Michael Brown, Mandee Ogden, Max Myers, Jr., Adam Napper, Wendi Doblin;
8 Great-grandchildren: Max Myers, III, Lydia Myers, Julianna Myers, Sally Myers, Tatum Ogden, Taylor Ogden, Malachi Doblin and Triston Brown.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 22, 2007 from 6 till 8 PM. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 23, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Riverside Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Wainwright officiating. Interment will follow in Dowling Cemetery.
