DOROTHY PEARCE

Dorothy Louise Huggins Pearce, 88, of Folkston, passed away Wednesday July 10, 2013 at Charlton Memorial Hospital.  She was born in Live Oak Florida to the late John Monroe Huggins and Sara Elizabeth “Sallie” Bennett.  She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband:  Jim Bedell Pearce, Jr.; a Daughter:  Sandra Gayle Pearce Boyd; and 6-Brothers:  Lee, Leon, Alvin, Earlis, Vernon and Julian Huggins.

She is survived by her 2-Sons:  Butch Pearce and Bob (Dana) Pearce; a Sister:  Wynell Huggins Crews; 7-Grandchildren:  Garrett, Brandi, and Jared Boyd, Crystal Gates, B.J. Pearce, Sandra DeLeigh Pearce Shelton and Seth Pearce; 3-Sisters-In-Law:  Betty Tomlinson Huggins, Cornelia Grooms Huggins and Betty Pearce Conner; and 6-Great Grandchildren.

A Graveside service will be held Saturday, July 13, at 1:00 PM in Pineview Cemetery with Rev. Mike Maddox officiating.
