Doris Mae Aldridge Harden

Doris Aldridge Harden, 78, of Folkston, GA passed away Monday, June 12 in Waycross, GA.  She was born March 23, 1945 in Folkston, GA to the late Owen Samuel Aldridge and Cora Allene Lee Aldridge.  She attended the First Assembly of God in Hilliard.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister:  Zoie Gooding and 3-brothers:  Herman Aldridge, Vernon Aldridge and Felton Aldridge.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years:  William Harden; 3-Children:  William Lester (Rebecca) Harden, Jr., Sonya Lynne McCarver and Ty Conway (Anese) Harden; 3-sisters:  Hazel Roddenberry, Linda (Marvin) Chancey and Edith (George) Wester; 3-brothers:  Lester Aldridge, Theron (Elizabeth) Aldridge and Harold Aldridge; 9-grandchildren and 12-great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Thursday, June 15 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home from 6-8 PM.  Funeral services will be held Friday, June 16 at 11:00 AM in the Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Arlie Johns officiating.  Burial will follow in Sardis Cemetery.
