Doris Jane Ballard Bramlitt, 62 of St. George passed away Friday, May 22, 2009 at the Morris Center, Jacksonville, Florida.
She was born January 10, 1947 in Alamo, Tennessee to Oscar Dayton and Irene Garret Ballard. She had been a resident of St. George for the past three years and was of the Baptist Faith.She was employed with the Charlton County Sheriff's Department.
Survivors include: One son: Chad (Shawna) Cowart of St. George.
Two granddaughters: Courtney Cowart of Seville, Florida; Connie Roper of Jacksonville, Florida; Three grandsons: Dalton Cowart of St. George; Chase Cowart of St. George; Jordan Tallon of St. George; Two sisters: Helen Conner nd Laura Ballard of Hilliard, Florida; Several nieces, Nephews, Aunts and other relatives.
Doris was preceded in death by a son: Ashley Dewayne Cowart.
The family will receive friends Saturday, May 23, 2009 from 6 until 8 PM at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be Sunday, May 24, 2009 at 12:30PM in the Chapel of Shepard Funeral Home with Rev. James Conner officiating. Burial will follow in Emmaus Cemetery.
