Donald Conner

Donald Blaine Conner, 74 of Folkston, Georgia passed away September 26, 2020 due to complications associated with Covid 19. He was born March 10, 1946 in Nassau County, Florida to the late Charles and Arna (Grannie) Conner. Don was a gentle man who lived a simple life with a great love for family, food and gab.

He was preceded in death by his parents as well as one sister, Nora B. Taylor and four brothers; Chris, Horace, Kenneth and Dwayne Conner.

Survivors include his beloved sister and brother in law, Brenda and Chris Gowen. One sister in law, Mae (Horace) Conner. Nieces and nephews: Christopher, Conner and Brittney Gowen; Shannon Carter and September Carter; Judy VanBusquirk and Carl Taylor; Marcia Wilson, Michele Kaplitz and Denise Bullard; David Conner and Vicky Hillegass; Carrie Meghan Howe and Clark Conner.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Gowen, Danny Wilson, Steve Carter, Steve VanBusquirk, David Kaplitz, Alan Taylor, Ken Taylor and Bob Popham.

The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the graveside services. Services will be held at 11:00 on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at Pineview Cemetery in Folkston with the Rev. Carl Taylor officiating.

Due to the COVID-19, the family would like to ask all to please follow the rules of social distancing and face mask are recommended at the service.   Also, anyone who does not feel comfortable with attending the service, the family would like for you to know they understand and covet your prayers.
