DONALD CHANEY

Donald John Chaney, 77, of Jacksonville, FL passed away December 15 following a lengthy illness.  Mr. Chaney was born October 29, 1938 in Jacksonville, FL to the late John C. Chaney and Lucille Westberry Chaney.  He proudly served his country for 9 years in the Florida Air National Guard.
He is survived by his wife Linda Woods Chaney, 6-Children:   Terry Chaney, Garry Chaney, Randy Chaney, Karen Chaney, Stephen Chaney and Reggie Chaney; 2-Sisters:  Christine Davis and Catherine Higginbotham; 15-Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday December 17 at Shepard Funeral Home from 6-8 PM.  Graveside funeral services will be held Friday December 18 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Leo Bowen officiating in Burnt Fort Cemetery.
