DONALD CHANCEY, SR.

Donald Jackson Chancey, Sr., 70, of Folkston, passed away April 3, 2015.  He was born September 15, 1944 in Atlanta, GA to the late Melvin Roger Chancey, Sr. and Ailene Elizabeth Harris.  He retired as an electrician from CSX Transportation.  He was of the Baptist Faith.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by 2-sisters:  Mary Moody and Jonelle Spaulding.
He is survived by his Wife:  Brenda Chancey; a Daughter:  Amy Daniels; 2-Sons:  Donnie and Lanny Chancey; a Brother:  Melvin Roger Chancey, Jr.; 10-Grandchildren:  Ashley, Joey, Brittany, Donovan, Donna, Logan, Katey, Tyler Alex and Ryan; 3-Great Grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
The family would like to say a special Thank You to Marla Allen of Heartland Hospice and his Caregiver Mary Smith.
The family will receive friends Monday, April 6 at Shepard Funeral Home from 6-8 PM.  Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 7 at Oakland Cemetery in Waycross, GA at 2:00 PM with Rev. Joe Chancey officiating.
