Dianne Wade

Dianne Hodges Wade, 58, passed away suddenly on April 29, 2009. She was preceded in death by her father Capt. Louis Dyal Hodges, Jr. She was a devoted mother to her son, Sean Wade and daughter, Mandy Wade Lenertz and grandmother to her granddaughters, Alexis and MacKenzie Lenertz. Dianne is also survived by her mother and step- father: Anne and Jimmy Moore; her brother: Louis (Janice) Hodges, Jr.; a sister: Regina Hodges (Joel) MacKenzie and a step-sister: Robbie (Donald) Higginbotham; Nieces: Amy (Bobby) Hendricks, Katie Owen; Nephews: Duane (Ashton) Hodges; Great-Nephews: Hunter Hendricks, and Jackson Hodges and one Great Niece: Taylor Hendricks and her former husband: Mike Wade.

Dianne was a Beautiful Lady who had a great zest for life. She enjoyed cooking and spoiling her two granddaughters. She was an avid animal lover who had a soft heart for all injured animals and was known to bring them home telling her mother, Anne, “they must have followed me home.” Dianne will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family will receive friends Tuesday May 5 at Shepard Funeral Home from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held Wednesday May 6 at 2:00 PM in the Shepard Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ed Greenstein officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Hilliard, Florida. Pallbearers will be Duane Hodges, Lewis Stokes, Gene Higginbotham, Ronnie Wade, Mark Wade, and Russell Wade.
