Diane Mumford

Diane Lee Mumford “Puddin”, 16, of Bryceville, FL, passed away Sunday September 7 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident with her “sweetheart” Kaleb Jeffrey. Whittemore. She was a member of River Road Baptist Church and was attending First Baptist Church of Callahan. She was a Junior at West Nassau High School. She enjoyed all outdoors and loved spending time at the river with her family. She loved her horses, especially her horse, Jasmine and her little dog, Vixy. She helped coach the Tiny Mite Pop Warner Cheerleaders. She was preceded in death by her Papa: Jimmy Conner; Her Uncle: Johnny Lee Conner, and her Great Granny: Mae Conner Rooks.

She is survived by her parents: Harry “Jimmy” and Melissa Conner Mumford; her Sister: Daphani Mumford; her Brothers: Nathan, Levi and Dallas Mumford; her Grandparents: Helen Conner and Johnny & Peggie Thompson; Aunts & Uncles: Denise (Clifford) Long, Buddy (Angie) Conner, Billy (Griscelda) Conner, Donna (Greg) Jones, Tracy (Charles) Carroll, and Wanda (Sam) Merkle; and numerous cousins, great aunts, great uncles and other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Thursday September 11 at River Road Baptist Church from 6-9 PM. Funeral services will be held at the church with Rev. James Conner officiating. Burial for Diane and Kaleb will be at Emmaus Cemetery in St. George near her Papa and Uncle at 4:00 PM Friday September 12, 2008.
