Denver J James Osborne, 85 of Yulee, Fl. Passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2008 in the Morris Center of Northeast Florida Community Hospice.
Born in Fitzgerald, Georgia , April 15, 1922, he served his country in the United States Navy.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and a member of the Shriner's in Jacksonville, Fl. He was preceded in death by his wife: Mary Mell Collins.
He is survived by 3 Sons: Ben Collins (Boyda) of Stockton, Ca., Timmy Herman (Lula) of Jacksonville, Fl.; Tommy Herman(Shar) of Lodi, Ca.; 1 Daughter: Janet Blanton (Steve) of Yulee, Fl.; 11 Grandchildren, 13 Great-Grand's; 4 Great-great-grands and a number of Nieces, Nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by a daughter Linda Carlisle.
The family will receive friends Thursday, January 24, 2008 from 6 until 8 PM at Shepard Funeral Home, Folkston, Georgia.
Funeral Services will be Friday, January 25, 2008 in the Chapel of Evergreen Cemetery, Jacksonville, Fl. At 11:00 AM with Rev. Preston Coltrane officiating.
Entombment will follow in the Evergreen Mausoleum.
