Orvadella Goodwin Taylor, 74, of Folkston passed away Monday morning January 9th, 2012 after a lengthy illness. She was born May 19th 1937 to Homer and Faye Goodwin of Greenville, SC.
Mrs, Taylor was a long time member of Folkston Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her parents Homer and Faye Goodwin, Her husband, James L. Taylor , 2 grandsons, Danny Cecil Eskew and Sgt. Gene Lavelle Lamie, and 2 sisters, Norma Goodwin and Bobbi Kelley.
She is survived by her Children, Carol (Timothy) Craig, Teresa (Mike) Smith, Linda (Eugene) Lamie, Jerry (Lisa) Taylor, Dale Taylor, and Ken (Ann) Taylor; 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great child.
The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, January 11th, 2012 from 5-8 p.m. at Shepard’s Funeral home in Folkston, GA. Services will be held Thursday, January 12, 2012 @ 11:00 a.m. at Folkston Church of God followed by internment at Sardis Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Shepard Funeral Home, Folkston, Georgia.
