Deborah Roddenberry Todd, 73, of Folkston, GA passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023. She was born in Folkston, GA on January 10, 1950 to the late James Gadson Roddenberry and Bernice Flora Chesser Roddenberry. Debbie graduated from Charlton County High School in 1968. She was a member of Philadelphia Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband; Bobby Todd, 2-sisters; Katherine Lett, and Betty Owens, 4-brothers; Clayton “Babe” Roddenberry, Barney Roddenberry, Gadson Roddenberry, and Jack Roddenberry, and a nephew; Bill Roddenberry.
She is survived by her 3-children; Kevin (Lorie) Roddenberry, Michael Todd, and Amy (Marty) Lash, 4-sisters; Doris (Allen) Lloyd, Latrelle McDowell, Judy (Reavis) Drury, and Sheila Carter, 8-grandchildren; Sherrie (Donnie) Stillwell, Archie Lash, Luke Lash, Hank Lash, Stephen Lash, Kassie Roddenberry, Madison Roddenberry, and Colin Todd, 3-great-grandchildren; Donald Stillwell, Nathaniel Stillwell, and Asa Stillwell, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM on Sunday, September 3, 2023 at Philadelphia Free Will Baptist Church. A service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 4, 2023 at Philadelphia Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Lloyd, Rev. Ray McMillan, and Rev. Billy Champion officiating. Burial will follow at Sardis Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ron Eunice, Terry Crews, Ricky Mobley, Johnny Lee, Arnold O’Berry, and Nick Prescott. Honorary Pallbearers will be Billy Clark and Greg Johnson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Philadelphia Free Will Baptist Church for missions.
