Deborah Roxanna Olsen Taylor, 59 of Hilliard, Florida passed away July 28, 2012.
She was born August 22, 1952 to Charles Edward Olsen and Vivian Louise Chancey Olsen Hinds in Jacksonville, Florida.
She was employed at St. Vincent’s Medical Center as a Director of the Open Heart Team Nurses, before retiring. She was a member of the American Nurses Association; The American Quarter Horse Association and Bred and Raised American Quarter Horses. Deborah loved racing horses and loved traveling the world with Bayle Barrel racing. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband: Jimmy Dale Taylor; son: Nicholas Adam Taylor(Dana) ; daughter: Bayle Taylor Shepard, all of Hilliard; Her Step-father: Tommy Hinds; her father: Charles Edward Olsen; one brother: Ronald Olsen; Grandchildren: Jennifer Taylor, Shelby Taylor, Haley Taylor , Tucker Sheppard, Kody Puckett, and Kailyn Puckett; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives.; She was preceded in death by her mother: Vivian Louise Hinds and a sister: Vivian Velicia(Lisa) Hinds.
A Memorial Service will be Saturday, August 11, 2012 in the Chapel of Shepard Funeral Home at
10:00 AM with Rev. Alan Floyd officiating. The family request, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to River Oaks Horses, c/o Southeastern Bank, Folkston, Georgia.
