Dawson “Pete” Edenfield

Dawson “Pete” Alexander Edenfield, 64 of Jacksonville passed away March 17, 2016 at his residence.  He was born September 15, 1951 in Folkston, Georgia to Oscar E. and Velma Inez Prescott Edenfield.  He was employed with Famous Amos for 37 years, before retiring.
He is survived by his children; son: Brian Edenfield(Susan) of Jacksonville, Florida; daughter: Leslie Molina(James) of Orange Park, Florida; Step-son: Daniel Shane Hayes of Jacksonville, Florida; 7 grandchildren: Cassidy Edenfield, Brett Edenfield, Nakayla Brinlee, Isabel Molina, Tatiana Molina, Gardner Collinsworth and Kelsey Harrold; Step-mother: Sue Dixon of Folkston, Georgia; brothers: Darrell Edenfield (Debra) Homer, Georgia; Floyd Edenfield (Sandy)of Folkston, Georgia; Jamie Dixon(Becky) of Folkston, Georgia;  sisters: Mary Evelyn Adams(Ronnie) Taccoa, Georgia; Phyllis Free of Atlanta, Georgia;Michele Edenfield of Folkston, Georgia; Amanda Lafferty (Lawson) of Folkston, Georgia; Several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The family will receive friends Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Shepard Roberson Funeral Home from 6 until 8 PM. Funeral  Services will be in the Funeral Home Chapel Monday, March 21, 2016 at 11:00 AM, with Elder Randy Strickland officiating. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery.
