Dawson Eugene Conner, 68, of Hilliard, passed away Sunday March 23 following a lengthy illness. He was born in St. George to the late Dawson and Ethel Crews Conner.
He is survived by 2-children: Michael (Lisa) Conner of Hilliard and Elaine (Ken) of ; 2-Brothers: Frank Conner of MacClenney, FL and Horace (Diane) Conner of Taylor, FL; 3-Sisters: Bertha Taylor of Jacksonville, FL, Martha (Tommy) Tipton of Glen St. Marys, FL, and Barbara (Dwight) Hicks of Hilliard, FL; 3-Grandchildren: Eric (Renna) Conner and Angie and Steven Rutland; 4-Step-Grandchildren, 1-Great Grandchild, and 2-Step-Great Grandchildren; and Special Friends: Alton and Brenda Conner.
The family will receive friends Monday March 24 at Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston, GA from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held Tuesday March 25 at Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston at 1:00 PM with Rev. James Conner officiating. Burial will be in Emmaus Cemetery in St. George, GA.
In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Northeast Hospice, 1466 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, FL 32257.
