David Hodges

David Mark Hodges, 53, of St. George, GA went to be with his Lord on August 12, 2021.  He was born June 3, 1968 in Folkston, GA .  He was a member of the First Baptist Church of St. George.

He was preceded in death by his wife:  Melanie Shaw Hodges.

He is survived by parents that loved and cared for him:  Daniel E. Hodges, Sr. (Muriel) and Pat Sessoms (Russell); a brother:  Daniel E. Hodges, Jr. (Brenda); 2-sisters:  Sherry Combs (Ronny) and Carla Doyle (Kevin); 7-nephews and 3-nieces and numerous great nieces and nephews; 2-stepdaughters:  April Cottle (Daniel) and Jennifer Shaw; 4-grandchildren:  Mandy, Haley, Daniel and Marissa Cottle.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, September 18 at the First Baptist Church of St. George at 2:00 PM with Pastor Larry Finley officiating.

Memorialization will be by cremation.

Due to Covid-19, the family would like to ask all attendees to please follow the rules of social distancing and face masks are recommended at the service.  Also, anyone that does not feel comfortable with attending the service, the family would like you to know they understand and covet your prayers.
