Darren Hodges

Darren Andrew Hodges, 45, of Folkston, GA, passed away August 7, 2013, after a long battle with cancer.  Darren was born April 3, 1968 in Folkston, GA.  He is a graduate of Charlton County High School.  He was an avid outdoorsman and his love of fishing and hunting was only surpassed by his love for Christ, and the love for his wife and sons.

Darren is survived by his wife Tammi, his sons Josh and Trenton, his sister, Cheryl (Rick) Raulerson, his brothers, James (Debbie) Hodges and Kevin Hodges, and his step-father, Wayne Morgan.  Darren was also loved and cherished by his close circle of friends throughout his life.  Darren was preceded in death by his mother, Bobbi Jean Morgan.

The family will receive friends Friday, August 9 at Shepard Funeral Home, 526 Oakwood Street, Folkston, GA beginning at 6:00 PM.  A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, August 10 at 10:30 in Pineview Cemetery in Folkston with Rev. Samuel Pickren officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Heartland Hospice Memorial Fund, 664 Scranton Road, Unit 103, Brunswick, Georgia 31520 or the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73123 in honor of Darren.
