Daniel Unangst

Daniel Lee Unangst, 57 of Folkston, Georgia passed away July 26, 2014 in S.E. Ga. Health Systems, Brunswick Campus, after an extended illness.  He was born July 10, 1957 in Lodi, Ohio to the late James Unangst and Juanita Louise Unangst Taylor.  Dan enjoyed working on tractors and working as a handi man. He retired as a self-employed carpenter.
He is survived by his children:  Dana Unangst of Monroe, GA, James Unangst II of Wooster, Ohio, Johnny Unangst of Conway, SC, Melissa Unangst of Conway, SC, and Dena Unangst of Wooster, Ohio; his mother: Juanita Taylor of Folkston; 5-Grandchildren; a brother: James Unangst(Bonnie) of St. Marys, Georgia; two sisters: Cynthia Louise McMillan(Steve) of Newcastle, Indiana; Sandra Dee Maldonnado(Bill) of St. Marys, Georgia; his grandmother: Hattie Holly of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; several Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father: James Unangst.
The family will receive friends Friday, August 1, 2014 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of Shepard Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 AM with Rev. Sammy Spradley officiating. Burial will follow in Camp Pinckney Baptist Church Cemetery.
