CONNIE MIZELL

Connie Mizell, 63, of Folkston, GA passed away suddenly at her residence March 8, 2021.  She was born October 11, 1957 in Folkston, GA to the late Harold Mizell and Marie Jernigan Mizell.  She was a member of Philadelphia Free Will Baptist Church.  She retired from D. Ray James Prison.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sisters:  Hilda Musgrove and Caroline Mizell.

She is survived by a sister:  Betty Woolard; 2-brothers:  Donald Mizell and Buddy (Debra) Mizell; nieces:  Amber Popham, Shea Talley, Kristen Steedley and Melissa Hodges; nephews:  Aaron Musgrove, Clint Mizell, Hamp Mizell, and Joe Musgrove and many very special great nieces and nephews and other family members that loved her dearly.

The family will receive friends Thursday, March 11 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home in Folkston, GA from 6-8 PM.  Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, March 12 at 11:00 AM in Sardis Cemetery with Rev. Ray McMillan officiating.
