Christine Nettles Webb

Christine Linda Nettles Webb, 73 of Folkston passed away April 6, 2015 in Mayo Clinic, Waycross, Georgia.  She was born on January 24, 1942 in Alma, Georgia to T.E. and Retha Dell Abercrombie. A lifelong resident of Charlton County she was a homemaker and she was of the
Pentecostal faith. She was preceded in death by her husband: Pastor Donald Nettles and she loved caring for the people in his churches and also led the singing.  She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Linda is survived by her children: Wade Nettles (Tammy) of Kingsland; Perry nettles (Teresa) of Chickamauga, Ga.; Ruth Nettles Oldham(Shane) of Atlanta, Ga.; Shadeena Nettles Yarbrough(Mark) of Folkston, Ga.; Grandchildren: Brandi Crisco, Ashley Lowrance, Nathaniel Nettles, Hannah Lee, Brandon Lee, Meleah Nettles, Dustin Yarbrough and Amber Yarbrough; eight great-grandchildren; a special friend: Cecil Webb and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The family will receive friends Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Shepard Funeral Home from 6 until 8 PM. Funeral Services will be Friday, April 10, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Dry Creek Baptist Church, Nichols, Georgia with Rev. Glenn Rowell and Rev. David Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
