Christine Nelson

Christine Ann Nelson passed away April 15, 2008 in Jacksonville, Florida. She was born on July 22, 1953 in Long Beach, California, to Elmer and Alice Baumeister. Christine graduated from Lynwood High School in 1971 in Lynwood, California. She received her LPN in nursing in Great Falls, Montana. She also served her country in the United States Airforce, as aan Aviation Technician,, one of the first of 5 women allowed on the flight deck during the Vietnam War. She is preceded in death by her birth parents and an infant sister, Betty Lou Baumeister.
Christine is survived by her husband: Lonnie B. Nelson, Hilliard, Florida; sons: L.B.(Renee')Nelson, Hilliard, Fl.; Jason(Heather) Weibel, Great Falls, MT; Erik(Rachel) Weibel, Great Falls, MT.; eitht grandchildren; Brothers: Joe(Alice) Baumeister, Lake San Marcos, Ca; Tony(Darlene) Baumeister, Eugene, OR; Sisters: Vicky(Tim) Telfer, Diamond Bar, CA, Laureen(Ronald) Young, Riverside, CA; Darla Minor, King, N.C.; Parents: Allen and Marjorie Weichal, Germanton, N.C.; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Memorial service will be Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 12:00 noon in the Chapel of Shepard Funeral Home, Folkston, Georgia.
