Christine Crews

Christine Geiger Crews, 90 of Hilliard, FL, passed away at her residence July 21, 2018.  She was born September 8, 1927 in Hilliard, FL to the late Port William Geiger and Dean Campbell Geiger.  She retired from Gilman Paper Company after 27 years of service.  She was a member of Old Paths Holiness Church.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband:  Chester Thomas Crews; 2-sons:  Dennis Crews and Jerry Crews, Sr.; 7 sisters:  Margaret, Dorothy, Kathryn, Rachel, Geraldine, Grace, Joy and an infant brother.

She is survived by her children:  Floyd T. Crews and his wife, Linda, Steve Crews, Sheila Brandies and Alton Crews and his wife, Kathy; 2-sisters:  Portia Ann O’Berry and Faye Spikes; 9-grandchildren, 12-great grandchildren and 4-great great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Monday, July 23 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home from 6-8 PM.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 24 at 11:00 AM in the Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Steve Crews and Bro. Paul Guthrie officiating.  Pallbearers will be grandsons and great grandsons.  Burial will follow in Brickyard Cemetery.
