Charles Earl Fowler, 77 of St. Marys, Georgia passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2009 in Life Care Center of Hilliard.
He was born September 20, 1931 to Bethel Leroy and Nancy Hutto Fowler in Jacksonville, Fl.
Mr. Fowler retired after 50 years of employment at Gilman Paper Company. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local #741. He was also a volunteer with the Camden County Sheriff's Department Water Patrol and Fire Department for 18 years.
Survivors include: A son: Charles Wayne Fowler of St. Marys, Ga.; One Grandchild:
Jennifer Lynn Fowler of Brunswick, Ga.; Two Great-grandchildren: Christopher Chanclor of St. Simons Island, Ga.; Justin Fowler of Waynesville, Ga.; 0ne sister: Sadie Latino (Angelo) of Ferriday, La.; Many Nieces, Nephew and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday, February 21, 2009 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Shepard Funeral Home with Rev. Alton Crews and Rev. Steve Crews officiating. Burial will follow in Brick Yard Cemetery.
