Cathy Gentry

Mrs. Cathy M. Gentry, 67, passed from this life into the arms of Jesus on her “special” day her birthday, December 26, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.

She is survived by her husband, Coleman Gentry of Kingsland, her children, Laura (Donald) Pace, Tyler Gentry of Kingsland, and Dylan Gentry of Franklin, TN, one sister; Mary Darlene Love of Lakeland, GA. She is preceded in death by her parents Charlotte Ann Davis Aldridge and Felton Aldridge and a sister Gina Aldridge Puckett.

Cathy was blessed with four grandchildren she loved dearly; Gavin Pace, Ava Pace, Preston Pace, and Hudson Pace and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles and other relatives.

Cathy was born December 26, 1956 to Felton and Charlotte Aldridge. She was a graduate of Charlton County High School Class of 1975. Upon marrying the love of her life, Cathy and Coleman made their home in Camden County for 43 years. Cathy and Coleman’s devotion and love stands as a testimony to their children and grandchildren.

Cathy realized and created her dream and legacy of Aunt B’s restaurant which was a forever favorite to the residents of Camden and surrounding counties. Her love and dedication to her family and friends always came first. She was truly a kind soul. She loved deeply and unconditionally.

Funeral Services will be held at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Sardis Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gavin Pace, Don Pace, Dylan Gentry, Thomas Thompson, Devin Allen, Charles Aldridge.
