Catherine Stimely

Catherine Johns Stimely, 71 of Hilliard passed away June 19, 2011 at Acosta Rua Center for Caring in Jacksonville. She was born July 12, 1939 in Winokur, Georgia. She was a loving mother, Grandmother and friend. She enjoyed being with people and most of all loved dancing. She was a member of the Church of God in Hilliard.
Survivors include: 3 sons: Fred Bray, Steve Bray and Mike Bray(Cindy) , all of Hilliard; 1 sister: Geraldine Sikes of Barberville, Florida; 6 Grandchildren: Fred Bray, Jr., Jennifer Marie Bray, James Austin Bray, Erica Arletta Bray, Nicole Marie Bray and Brandon Michael Bray; 6 Great-grand’s: Trevor Bray, Luke and Logan Bray, Lillie and Cloie Bray, Olivia Lynn Bray, Haly Marie Bray and Blaine Bray; Several Nieces, Nephews and other relatives.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening, June 23, 2011 at the funeral home from 6 until 8 PM. Funeral services will be Friday, June 24, 2011 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of Shepard Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Powell officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Hilliard, Florida.
