Catherine Scott

Catherine Henderson Scott, 83 of Harriett’s Bluff passed away June 14, 2012. She was born in Jacksonville, NC. She was a business woman and mother, living in Folkston, Georgia 26 years before moving to Camden County in 1974 to live on Beautiful Crooked River that she loved. She was a member of the Kingsland United Methodist Church and Friendship Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Jack Lanier Scott.
She is survived by two sons: Terry (Sue) of Harriett’s Bluff and Charles (Ilse) of Raleigh, NC; 3 grandchildren: Stacy, Tee and Zack; 3 Great grandchildren: Holden, Camden and Julia; her nieces and nephews: Nancy, Sarah, Lynn, Carol and Clyde.
The family will receive friends Saturday, June 16, 2012 in the Chapel of Shepard Funeral Home from 1 until 2 PM with services beginning at 2: 00 PM. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery.
