BRADLEY LEE

Bradley Lee, 90, a native of Charlton County and a resident of Homeland passed away Monday, October 24, 2011 at Lifecare Center of Hilliard following a lengthy illness with Alzheimer’s.
Bradley was born to Harrison Lee and Sarah Jane Dowling Lee on Billy’s Island, January 1, 1921. He was educated in the Hoboken School System and he was a graduate of Hoboken High School Class of 1941. He served in the US Army during World War II. He retired from St. Regis Paper Company and was of the Baptist Faith.
Bradley was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of seventy years, Gladys Carter Lee; eight brothers: Ferman, Dorminey, Milton, Noah, Lonnie, Jesse, Frank, Jahugh and two sisters: Clara Griffin and Cora Aldridge.
He is survived by his children: Lavonne Todd (Harry) of Folkston; Annette Peete(Ronnie) of Folkston; Billy Lee of Homeland; David Lee(Linda) of Folkston; Brenda Herrin of Homeland; nine Grandchildren: Vicky Kicklighter(Ernie) of Folkston; Jim Todd(Jeanette) of Folkston; Chris Peete(Amy) of Kingsland; Veronica Barrett(Andy) of Folkston; Shannon Lee (Stephanie) of Connecticut; Tonya Lee of Jacksonville; Candace Gibbs of Folkston; Ansley Williams(Ryan) of California; Cory Bryant(April) of Folkston; Fifteen Great-grandchildren: John and James Todd of Folkston; Ryan and Tyler Peete of Kingsland; Brody Barrett of Folkston; Alex Lee of Connecticut; Khalil Lee of Folkston, Kiara Crews of St. George; Aysiah, Breighanna, Kaela and Nevaeh Gibbs of Folkston, Tre’ Ballard of California; Colby and Chloe Bryant of Folkston. Bradley is also survived by two sisters: Delorice Joyner of Waycross, Gussie Mae Crews of Nahunta and one brother Clayton Lee of Hoboken; numerous nephews, nieces and other relatives.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 27 from 6 until 8 PM at Shepard Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday October 28 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of the Funeral Home with Rev. Jody Griffin and Rev. Buddy Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Homeland Cemetery.
