Blanche Sikes

Blanche Virginia Powers McDonald Sikes, 87, passed away March 22 at Life Care Center of Hilliard. She was born in Creston, Kentucky to the late Frank E. Powers and Leuetta McClure Powers. She was a member of Hebardville Baptist Church and First Baptist Church of Hilliard. She was preceded in death by 3-Brothers and 8-Sisters. She was a faithful servant of the Lord, a wonderfull mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by 2-Children: Wanda Faye (Chester) Thomas of St. Marys, GA, and Ronald David (Ronda) Sikes of Hilliard, FL; 3-Grandchildren: Jerry Mitchell (Martha Jo) Crews, Jr., Tiffany Darlene Sikes, and Travis David Sikes; 2-Great Grandchildren: Breanna Michelle Crews, and Jeremy Ryan Crews.

The family will receive friends Tuesday March 24 at Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston, GA from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held Wednesday March 25 at 11:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Hilliard with Rev. Will Jacobs officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
