Bill “Big Daddy” Roddenberry, 33, of Folkston, passed away Friday June 26 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was a native and life-long resident of Charlton County. He was a member of the Folkston Masonic Lodge F&AM #196. He was also a member of Cowhouse and Red Rider Hunting Club. He was employed with Conner and Roddenberry Logging. He was preceded in death by his father: Clayton “Babe” Roddenberry.
He is survived by his daughter: Harley Roddenberry and her mother: Sandie McAlister; his mother and step-father: Larene and Larry Crews; 2-Brothers and Sisters-In-Law: Buck and Beth Roddenberry and their children Lauren, Maggie, and Olivia; and J.W. And Glenda Roddenberry and their children: Nikki and Junior; Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and other Relatives.
The family will receive friends Monday June 29 at Shepard Funeral Home beginning at 6:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Tuesday June 30 at 10:00 AM at Camp Pinckney Baptist Church with Rev. Ray McMillan officiating. Burial will be in Sardis Cemetery.
